They want to double the compensation to families who sheltered migrants in the autumn-winter period.
As Minister Oleksiy Chernyshov said, the amount of compensation will increase after the start of the heating season.
Currently, the state pays such families UAH 450 in compensation per person for housing and communal services services. Thus, more than 100 million hryvnias are transferred to the support program for displaced persons every month.
"We understand that winter is ahead of us, the heating season and costs will increase. Therefore, we plan to double this parameter, to raise this amount, it will be about 900 hryvnias," Chernyshov emphasized.
