The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine is trying to collect money through the court for unfulfilled contracts for the supply of weapons from the company "Ukrainian Armored Vehicles", which is associated with former People's Deputy Serhiy Pashinskyi.

In particular, the article, with reference to sources in the security forces and defense business, claims that with the beginning of the full-scale invasion, "Ukrainian armored vehicles" became one of the main contractors of the Ministry of Defense. After all, in the first months of the great war, the Ukrainian authorities were forced to quickly and at any cost resolve the issue of supplying weapons to the army.
That is why Serhiy Pashynskyi, who has been actively engaged in business in the defense sector since 2014, "came out". But later, as arms suppliers diversified, serious questions arose about the 2022 contracts. In particular, regarding agreements with "Ukrainian armored vehicles".
As it turned out, Pashinsky's company received 100% advance payments for all military contracts from the Ministry of Defense. According to sources in the defense business, according to the terms of the contracts, "Ukrainian Armored Vehicles" was indeed supposed to deliver "dual-purpose goods" (weapons) in the first months of a full-scale invasion. However, most of these contracts were partially fulfilled only a year later, and some are still in litigation to collect money for non-fulfillment of agreements.
In addition, the investigation recalls that Pashynsky was engaged in winding up artificial markups in the defense sector. In particular, this is evidenced by the recordings of his conversations with those closest to him made public in the media, where he recommended doubling the price of weapons.
"That is, the media story about what is being spread by various bloggers close to the ex-National Deputy, that "Pashinsky saved Kyiv from the Russian invasion", is a myth and an outright lie", the publication writes.
We will remind that on February 12, NABU, SAP and SBU, based on the materials of the State Audit Service, announced the suspicion of former People's Deputy Serhiy Pashinskyi, his business partner and four of their accomplices in the possession of petroleum products worth almost UAH 1 billion.
On February 26, the High Anti-Corruption Court took Pashinsky into custody with an alternative bail of over UAH 272 million. On February 27, members of the National Association of Defense Industry Enterprises made this pledge.
