The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine extended the electricity tariffs for the population for another month - until the end of May.
This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the meeting government
"The government continues the preferential price for electricity for the population for another month," he said.
We will remind you that the government of Ukraine has decided to maintain the current tariffs for electricity until April 30. Currently, the population pays 1,44 hryvnias per kWh if less than 250 kWh per month is consumed and 1,68 hryvnias per kWh if more than 250 kWh per month is consumed.
At the same time, the head of NCREKU Kostyantyn Uschapovskyi said that the government is considering two options for raising the tariff: up to 2,40 hryvnias and up to 2,80 hryvnias per 1 kWh.
