French President Emmanuel Macron postponed his visit to Ukraine for security reasons. He writes about it edition Challenges.
"Macron's first bilateral visit, scheduled for February 13-14, is postponed," - the publication says.
It is noted that representatives of the union of French entrepreneurs (Medef) also canceled their planned trip to Kyiv.
Challenges writes that Macron was supposed to visit Odessa and announce the creation of a fund of 200 million euros, which is paid in the form of donations for civil projects carried out by French small and medium-sized enterprises.
According to the publication, which refers to the Elysee Palace, Macron's visit was postponed to ensure his safety.
In addition, on the eve of his trip to Ukraine, the French president wants to intensify his support for Ukraine at the expense of a new aid package from Paris and European partners.
The new date of Macron's visit to Ukraine has not been determined.
