The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dmytro Kuleba, does not confirm the information that the representative of China in Ukraine, Li Hui, in his international trips, called on Kyiv's partners to insist on handing over part of the occupied territories to Russia. The Ukrainian diplomat bases his conviction on the statements of his colleagues from Warsaw, Berlin, Brussels and Paris.
The minister stated this during his address to Facebook.
"I immediately contacted my colleagues in the capitals that he visited, and none of them confirmed that there were any announcements or negotiations even about recognizing as Russia those territories that are currently occupied by Russia in Ukraine," - said Kuleba during a video feed as part of his tour of African countries.
He added that the foreign policy department is constantly in contact with partners from other countries. In this way, Kyiv manages to be aware of and timely stop any discussions that the society may consider as "treason".
