On March XNUMX, during combat duty in the Black Sea, near the city of Ochakiv, as a result of a missile attack by an enemy ship of the Russian aggressors, senior sailor Hryhoriy Mokan from the Odesa region was seriously injured.
He was in cold water for several hours with broken limbs, a severe head injury and a lost eye, but he managed to survive and now needs long-term treatment, and the main thing is care and attention.
The other day he was visited by the head of the Ivanovo community of the Berezovsky district, Viktor Lobach. On behalf of the whole community, he gave Grigory a new wheelchair and various food products.
"Gryhoriya brought a new cart and groceries from our community. I thanked him for his heroism and courage. Unfortunately, only seven guys from his crew remained alive, and eleven went missing," Viktor Lobach said.
