It is reported that last month SpaceX sent a letter to the Pentagon, in which the company asks the US Department of Defense to take over the financing of the use of Starlink in Ukraine.
"We are unable to continue donating terminals to Ukraine or funding existing terminals for an indefinite period of time," said the letter that Starlink sent to the Pentagon.
"It is unreasonable": Elon Musk confirmed that he cannot "endlessly finance" the operation of the Starlink satellite communication system in Ukraine.
Political technologist Jason Smart writes that Starlink refused to provide free services to Ukraine after former Ukrainian ambassador to Germany Melnyk sent Musk a tweet.
"We just followed his recommendations." Musk replied.
