On Wednesday, October 11, the League of Arab States will hold a meeting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict — Reuters.
Arab League foreign ministers will meet on Wednesday to discuss ways to "stop Israeli aggression" against the Gaza Strip, the pan-Arab group said in a statement.
The Palestinian ambassador to the League of Arab States, Muhannad Al-Akluk, explained that the request for the meeting came against the background of "severe and ongoing aggression by Israel against the Palestinian people, including the escalation of the storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque by thousands of settlers."
It is specified that the purpose of the meeting is to discuss ways of political mobilization both at the Arab and international levels "to stop the ongoing Israeli aggression in Gaza." They add that it is about ensuring the international protection of the Palestinian people, as well as achieving peace and security.
