Ukrainian wrestlers received 5 awards on the second day of the world championship for athletes under 23 years of age in Serbia. Three of the medals won are gold, two are silver and one is bronze.
Maria Vinnyk, who performed in the weight category up to 53 kilograms, was the first on the carpet among the girls. Her rival was Mariana Dragutan from Moldova. The Ukrainian won the victory in the last seconds of the fight and won the "bronze".

In weight up to 62 kilograms, Kateryna Zelenykh fought for the gold medal against Ana Paula Gonzalez from Canada. The Ukrainian woman began to lead, but then her rival began to catch her on attacks. As a result, Kateryna Zelenykh conceded and received "silver".
Anastasiya Lavrenchuk, competing in the category up to 65 kilograms, fought with the Russian Dinara Kudaeva-Salikhova. The fight ended with a score of 4:0 after a kill from the Ukrainian. Anastasia Lavrenchuk won "gold" and became the world champion.
In the category up to 72 kilograms, Ukraine was represented by Anastasia Alpeeva. Her rival from France was the first to open the account, but then the Ukrainian began to catch her at the reception. The match ended with a score of 4:1, Anastasia Alpeeva won the gold medal.
