American businessman, founder of SpaceX and Tesla, Elon Musk announced the successful chipping of a monkey that can now play video games.

Chipping became an experiment of the Neuralink company in the social application Clubhouse, created for communication and online conferences. Musk also announced the release of a video of a monkey with a wireless implant in its brain.
“She can play video games with her brain,” Musk said.
According to him, the chip is completely hidden under the animal's skin without harming him. According to the businessman, "the best conditions for monkeys" have been created at Neuralink.
"In the future, we want monkeys to play ping-pong with each other," added Musk.
Also, in a conversation with users, Musk stated that the goal of chipping technology is to eliminate the consequences of brain and spinal cord injuries and return lost abilities to patients.
"It's like a Fitbit (a fitness bracelet from an American company — Ed.) in your skull with tiny wires going into the brain," Musk explained.
