The Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Oleksandr Kubrakov, announced his intention to start container transportation from the ports of Greater Odessa.
According to the plan, two ships with containers will soon leave the Danube ports for Romania. The purpose of this step is the development of container routes for the export of Ukrainian agricultural products to European countries, in particular to Austria and Germany, by using the Danube river corridor.
"I would suggest that market participants consider any alternative routes, even if it negatively affects profits. The ports of Great Odesa are open and we hope to launch the first container ships from there soon." - said Kubrakov.
