The "yellow zone" in terms of the level of incidence of the coronavirus has been introduced since September 23 throughout Ukraine. Such a decision was taken by the State Commission on Technological and Environmental Safety and Emergency Situations.
The following restrictions are introduced in the yellow zone:
observance of the mask regime, physical distance of 1,5 meters;
a ban on holding mass events with the participation of more than 1 person per 4 m² of building or territory area;
the operation of cinema halls and halls of other cultural institutions is permitted only with 50% occupancy;
the work of gyms and fitness centers is allowed, provided that no more than 1 person per 10 m;
the work of educational institutions goes online if less than 80% of employees have received at least one dose of the vaccine against COVID-19.
In this case, even the strictest requirements will not apply to vaccinated citizens. All restrictions of the yellow zone are removed if all participants and at least 80% of organizers of mass events, employees of cinemas, theaters, museums or other cultural institutions, gyms and swimming pools have at least a "yellow" (after one dose of vaccination) COVID-certificate, and especially "green".
"This is the method that is successfully used today by a number of European and world countries in order to protect people and at the same time not stop the country's economic activity," said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
