Forced vaccination may be introduced for some categories of Ukrainians.
"Today's vaccine is available to everyone and vaccination is voluntary. The issue of the introduction of categories of professions for which vaccination against the coronavirus COVID-19 will be mandatory is being considered. - said the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.
He emphasized that compulsory vaccination of certain groups of the population is foreseen The Law of Ukraine "On the Protection of the Population from Infectious Diseases".
Today, this issue was also discussed in the Odessa City Hall. For some categories of professions in Odessa, in particular, officials, they can enter either mandatory vaccination, or weekly PCR test.
According to the vice-mayor of Odessa, Svetlana Bedrega, medical workers, teachers, representatives of trade and other professions who have a lot of contact with citizens, including civil servants, must be vaccinated.
