At the moment, five mutations of the coronavirus have been recorded in Ukraine, all of them belong to the global genetic line B and originate from China. A new highly contagious strain of coronavirus that appeared in Great Britain has not been detected in Ukraine.

- B1.5 — viruses of this group belong to a large group of viruses circulating in Europe and originating from Spain,
- B2 — viruses of this group circulate in more than 57 countries of the world on 6 continents.
