In Lviv, the Guinness World Record holder, pediatrician Oleg Skavysh (Tyagnyzub), stretched out his teeth. There were 10 children in the car. With a force action, he drew attention to the problem of vaccination against a terrible disease. This happened in Na Valakh Park, where yesterday they organized an action calling for vaccination of children against poliomyelitis.
Doctors note that the virus is circulating, and parents neglect vaccination, when Lviv region is among the top three leaders with the lowest level of vaccination. In the region, the percentage of vaccinated children does not exceed 65, when collective immunity should be 95%.
"We promote a healthy way of life, and vaccination is health, everything is clear and understandable," said pediatrician-endocrinologist Oleg Skavysh.
The strongman doctor held the winch in his teeth, which was attached to the car in an emergency, and dragged the vehicle weighing about 3 kilograms with ten children in the cabin to the applause of eyewitnesses and camera lenses.
Note that polio is a virus that affects the central nervous system and can lead to muscle paralysis. After the transfer of the disease, a person can remain disabled for life. To find out how and when a child should be vaccinated against poliomyelitis, it is necessary to consult a family doctor.
We remind you that at the end of last year, two cases of poliomyelitis were detected in the Rivne and Zakarpattia regions.
