Today, new quarantine restrictions on passenger transportation began to apply in Ukraine.
During the first half of the day on October 21, due to the lack of a vaccination certificate or a negative test for COVID-19, the employees of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" did not allow 18 passengers to travel. This was reported by the press service of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia".
In particular, due to the lack of necessary documents, 5 passengers were not admitted to the train Uzhhorod - Kharkiv, 1 passenger Uzhhorod - Kharkiv (second train), 3 passengers Nikolaev - Kharkiv, 2 passengers Vorokhta - Poltava, 1 passenger Lysychansk - Uzhgorod, Kyiv - Kharkiv 6 passengers.
Representatives of the National Police were called to the trains twice.
UZ also reported that out of 500 express tests conducted, 18 results were positive. At the same time, more than 200 people were vaccinated in nine vaccination points located at railway stations.
If the passenger does not have a "green" or "yellow" certificate of vaccination, PCR or an express test for COVID-19, then he can take a test at 10 stations: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro, Zaporozhye, Mukachevo, Kryvyi Rih, Vinnytsia and Poltava. It will cost 350 hryvnias.
Meanwhile, due to new restrictions on transport, the Central bus station in Kyiv lost 40% of flights.
According to Maksym Sklyarenko, representative of the operator of the Central bus station, the carriers warned the night before that they would not put buses on the routes. Now they collect passengers nearby, outside the station, in an illegal parking lot. Mainly international carriers remained at the official bus station.
