Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleg Nemchynov reported that public transport during the lockdown, which is proposed to be introduced at the beginning of January next year, will operate with significant restrictions. He reported this on the air of the TV channel "Ukraine 24".
The minister noted that in the event of a lockdown, entry and exit from the country will be open for citizens of Ukraine, restrictions on international communication are not planned.
In response to the question why during the possible harsh quarantine in January it is proposed to allow the operation of public transport and not to close the intercity connection, although many passengers ignore the mask regime, Nemchynov said: "Because of the fact that road accidents occur, we do not stop using cars. In this case, it is more a question of self-control. If you look at the proposals that we voiced..., then we are talking about the actual use of transport with even greater restrictions - with the use of only seats."
