In one of the suitcases of a Ukrainian woman, customs officials found two plastic boxes with the inscription "Magadan delicacies: serve the sea to the table" at the "Orlovka" PE. But instead of seafood, they contained various coins, including ancient ones.
In particular, "2 kopecks", minted in 1812 in the Russian Empire, British coins dated 1903, 1915, 1918, 1919, 1936, 1946 and 1948.
At the same time, the woman did not have any permits for moving cultural values. Odesa customs officers drew up a report on the violation of customs rules based on part 1 of article 483 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
Ancient coins were confiscated, and the case itself will be sent to court.
