In 7 months of 2023, Ukrainians bought more electric cars than in the entire year of 2022. Volkswagen, Tesla and Nissan models are in the greatest demand. In July, sales set a new monthly record — 3260 cars. About this testifies statistics of the Federation of Employers of the Automobile Industry.
Compared to June, sales increased by 3,3%, and compared to last year, it doubled immediately. The most popular electric cars in Ukraine in July are Nissan Leaf (2 units), Volkswagen e-Golf (480) and Volkswagen ID.379 (4).
In total, in 7 months of 2023, Ukrainians bought 15 electric cars. This is not only 932 times more than in the same period last year, but also exceeds the figure of 2,8 by 2614 cars.
In addition, the share of new electric vehicles increased from 16,9% to 21,4%. Volkswagen became the market leader.

- Tesla — 2916.
- Nissan — 2594.
- Honda - 1232.
- Renault - 811.
Among the models, the Nissan Leaf is still in first place, but it is followed by Volkswagen models.
