Top 10 car investments in 2023

The modern world economy has been noticeably slowing down recently, for which there are objective reasons, but some assets, which include, for example, exclusive cars, continue to increase in price from year to year.

Such cars are not just vehicles, they are unique, very profitable investments, comparable to investments in works of art. Like paintings, rare cars gradually increase in value. For example, a car once bought for a couple of thousand dollars, years later, can be sold for tens of millions!

EliteExpert, in his another rating, has selected for you the 10 largest and most profitable global investments in cars made in 2023.

Each car on this list is not so much a car as a work of engineering art, an embodiment of innovation and history. The exclusivity of these cars is enhanced by limited production, historical significance or unique characteristics.

All copies in the rating are priceless in their own way. That makes them attractive not only to collectors and car enthusiasts, but also to investors looking for non-standard and reliable ways to preserve and increase capital.

1st place 330 Ferrari 250 LM/1962 GTO - $51,700,000

At the top of the ranking is the Ferrari 250 GTO, a unique example of automotive art and engineering. Cars of this model reach up to 70 million dollars at auctions. They are racing legends who won three World Championship titles between 1962 and 1964.

The rarity of this particular example is due to its history: originally produced as a Ferrari 330 LM, it was converted at the factory in 1963 into the 250 GTO model. This process involved installing the 3,0-liter V12 from the 250P and the 5-speed transmission from the 250 GTO, making it an exceptional example among the already very rare models.
