The parliament passed the law on unblocking large-scale privatization

First of all, we are talking about the enterprise "Bolshevik", the Odesa Port Plant, the United Mining and Chemical Company and the President Hotel

On March 30, deputies of the Verkhovna Rada supported in the second reading the government bill No. 4543 on the unblocking of large-scale privatization. 257 People's Deputies voted for this decision.

Adoption of the law will eliminate the last obstacle to the restoration of privatization of large state-owned enterprises.

"I thank the People's Deputies for supporting this most important bill. Removing restrictions on sales from large state-owned enterprises will allow not only to fill the state budget, but also to attract a large amount of private investment in the development of these companies and the economy of Ukraine," noted Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Igor Petrashko.

First of all, we are talking about the big privatization of the "Bolshevik" enterprise, the Odesa Port Plant, the United Mining and Chemical Company, and the President Hotel.

"The adoption of the law will finally allow auctions to be announced and held," added Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Svetlana Panaiotidy.

As a reminder, in 2021, the plan for revenues to the state budget from privatization is set at the level of UAH 12 billion. The implementation of this plan is possible only under the condition of unblocking the large privatization auctions.
