On April 11, the Verkhovna Rada voted to cancel the amendment on demobilization in the draft law on mobilization. This was reported by the People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
"The amendment in which there was a regulation on cleaning up demobilization was passed by 227 [votes "for"]. That is, this provision has been completely removed from the law (about 36 months and rate decisions)." he said.
Earlier it became known that the provision on demobilization was removed from the draft law. This, according to the document, was initiated by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Sirskyi and supported by Defense Minister Umerov.
In the address of the head of the committee, this is justified by the fact that the draft law on mobilization should be adopted as soon as possible, and the issue of demobilization, given the large number of amendments, should be taken separately.
