In April, as previously believed, the 15-inch MacBook Air will not be presented - it will have to wait until June, due to the fact that Apple began testing third-party software from the App Store to check its compatibility with the new hardware, sources write Bloomberg.
The diagonal size of the device attracted the most attention - sources claim that Apple will expand the MacBook Air notebook series with a giant 15-inch model. The model with a 13,6-inch display will remain in the lineup.
According to Bloomberg, the new product will not be presented in April, as was previously believed - it will have to wait until June at best. It is reported that the laptop will be based on the M2 chip with an 8-core processor, and the design will be the same as the last version of the Air with a screen of 13,6 inches.
Along with the new MacBook Air, the manufacturer presents a 24-inch iMac and a 13-inch MacBook Pro. In addition, Apple is working on the first Mac Pro with a new processor, but its announcement will most likely take place at the end of the year.
And already in 2024, the release of the MacBook Pro based on the M3 processor is planned. It is expected that the updated chip will provide a colossal increase in productivity and higher energy efficiency.
We will remind that since the beginning of 2023, Apple has already managed to release new MacBook Pros on the M2 Pro and M2 Max, and in March the new "yellow" iPhone 14 was presented.
Apple's WWDC 5 developer conference is scheduled for June 9-2023, where Apple is rumored to finally unveil its mixed reality headset. It is believed that the gadget is directly related to the legacy of Tim Cook and will be the first product that was not influenced by Steve Jobs.
Also, a special version of AirPods Pro with USB-C and possibly the second generation of AirPods Max is expected to be released in the spring and summer. Traditionally, the main presentation of the company will be held in September, where iPhone 15 smartphones with a new design and USB-C, Apple Watch Series 9 and other devices will be shown.
