34,1 billion out of 66 billion UAH have already been spent from the fund to fight the coronavirus, that is, 52% of all funds of the fund. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Finance.
It is interesting that most of the money was allocated for the construction and repair of roads. 16,3 billion hryvnias out of the allocated 35 billion (47%) were used in this area.
But on the direct purpose, namely on the field of health care, the least was spent: 5,8 billion hryvnias out of the planned 16,3 billion, or 35%. 21 million hryvnias were spent on the purchase of artificial lung ventilation devices (100 million were allocated), 624 million hryvnias were spent on the provision of laboratories of the Ministry of Health and the purchase of personal protective equipment for medical workers out of the 2,9 billion provided. 571 were sent to local budgets to subsidize the supply of oxygen to hospitals million hryvnias, as well as 2,7 billion hryvnias out of the planned 6 billion hryvnias were spent on increasing allowances and additional payments to medical workers.
It is noted that the funds allocated for the purchase of equipment for reception departments and support hospitals have not yet been used.
Funds from the fund are also directed to other regions. In the sphere of social protection, 9,3 billion hryvnias were used out of 10,4 billion (89%). 2,4 billion hryvnias from 2,7 billion (91%) were used to ensure law and order. 1 billion hryvnias are provided for state support of the sphere of culture, tourism and creative industries, of which only 6 million hryvnias have been used so far. 524 million hryvnias have been provided for the restoration of expenses that were reduced when the Fund was created, of which 165 million or 31% have been used so far.
