This week, Oleg Radkovskiy and Mykhailo Pozhivanov, heads of BF "Native Bereg" met with residents of three districts of Odesa. The purpose of the meetings is to provide humanitarian support to pensioners, the poor and displaced persons living in Odesa.
As the doctor of technical sciences, professor Mykhailo Pozhivanov, who heads the Odesa city organization of the party "Batkivshchyna", told, within the framework of the work of the "Native Shore" charity foundation, humanitarian aid with food kits is provided in the city of Odesa on an ongoing basis.
"We understand the importance of such support for socially vulnerable sections of the population and displaced persons who were forced to give up everything to save life and flee from the war. Our humanitarian staffs work daily in every district of the city, processing requests and providing assistance. We are also conducting negotiations with our European partners to increase the amount of aid to people, because we understand that only together, helping each other, we will endure and win this war," said Mykhailo Pozhivanov.
Politicians noted that every day people receive more than two hundred food kits designed for a family.
Oleg Radkovskyi, the head of the "Batkivshchyna" party in the Odesa region, added that on the basis of the joint humanitarian hub "Odesa HAB Batkivshchyna", which includes more than ten funds and organizations, it was possible to establish stable work on receiving, delivering and distributing humanitarian aid throughout the region.
"Winter is approaching, and the issue of heating, especially in rural areas, is extremely urgent and requires a quick solution, because not everyone has the opportunity to buy firewood. In large cities, it is necessary to provide heating points and generators. That's why our humanitarian hub also deals with such issues - our colleague Serhiy Shutov and his foundation "Noble Cause", for example, are already working to provide the rural population of the south of the region and the military with firewood and stoves for heating," Oleg Radkovskyi said.
