Farewell ceremony and funeral of 31-year-old opposition supporter Roman Bondarenko takes place in Minsk

Today, November 20, Minsk is hosting a farewell and funeral ceremony for Roman Bondarenko, a 31-year-old opposition supporter who was beaten to death in the capital of Belarus.

Several hundred people gathered at the ceremony. Say goodbye to Roman Bondarenko, families with children have come. The farewell ceremony takes place in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ.

Let us remind you that 31-year-old Roman Bondarenko was taken away by people in civilian clothes who removed the symbols of the opposition, and then he was taken beaten to the intensive care unit of the emergency medical care hospital on November 12. Other witnesses claim that the deceased was taken in a minibus in an unknown direction, and then he ended up in the hospital.

The President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stated that the government did not need Bondarenko's death, and called on people not to make policies that lead to the death of people.
