Today, January 15, the German government issued a permit for the construction of Nord Stream-2, which is planned to be completed in June.
About it сообщает Federal Department of Shipping and Hydrography of the Federal Republic of Germany.
In particular, the department has extended the time frame of the already issued permit for the construction of the Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline, now it is possible to build it until the end of May.
"The Federal Office of Shipping and Hydrography (BSH) issued the joint-stock company Nord Stream 2 a permit to lay pipes in the German exclusive economic zone with a length of approximately 16,5 kilometers and 13,9 kilometers in the period from the end of September to the end of May," - writes in the statement department
Thus, the time frame of the already issued permit, which the project company requested in July 2020, was extended.
"The request concerns a new time window for laying pipes with the help of a vessel with anchor positioning on the remaining part of the route in the German exclusive economic zone," the statement added.
