Comparison of Erdogan with Hitler, retreat and the situation at the front: the Prime Minister of Armenia addressed the people

A video address of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikolay Pashinyan was published today, in which he talked about the ongoing conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Thus, the Armenian leader recalled the "Munich Agreement", which became a harbinger of the Second World War, and compared the events of those years with today's realities. In his opinion, international forces and organizations do not react to what is happening, believing that the formula "territory in exchange for peace" will be acceptable.

— This is very similar to the "Munich Agreement" of 1938, when, ostensibly for peace, the territories of Czechoslovakia were transferred to Germany. Everyone knows what happened next... The question is whether peace will allow a new Hitler to appear, this time in Asia Minor... Today, it is extremely important for us to understand the military-political situation. But for this it is necessary to understand the causes and conditions of the war. In previous years, the negotiation process on Karabakh reached a point where, in fact, the Armenian people were asked to give up their own rights, the prime minister said.

Obviously, when talking about "Hitler in Asia Minor", Pashinyan was alluding to Turkish President Recep Erdogan, who supports Azerbaijan.

He also added that Azerbaijan demanded the surrender of 5 out of 7 districts of the territory around Karabakh, presented a schedule for the surrender of the remaining two districts and noted that any status of Karabakh must be part of Azerbaijan. Pashinyan stated that his government refused to resolve the Karabakh issue and territorial concessions without determining the status of the NKR

He also added that the Armenian army retreated in two directions: northern and southern in the areas of the unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

The prime minister explained the retreat by the fact that the other side changed tactics.

— In the northern and southern directions, our army had certain retreats. The enemy has changed tactics, trying to create chaos in our rear with sabotage sorties, Pashinyan emphasized.

In addition, the head of the Armenian government stated that the situation at the front was extremely difficult.
