Lifted 260 kilograms with one hand. Such a Ukrainian record in the "Power of the Spirit" category was set by 33-year-old Vladimir Moisei from Berdyansk. It happened in Kyiv at the festival "Youth. Sport. The future".
The athlete lost his arm two years ago in an accident. But, despite this, he did not leave the sport. He continues to train himself, participates in competitions and trains children with special needs.
"Let this barbell, as a problem, never be above your strength. Any situation in life can be overcome," the record holder noted.
Vladimir lifted a 260-kilogram barbell over his shoulder with the help of a strap. He dedicated the record to his family and at the same time said he wanted to support everyone who loses heart after tragic situations.
