Recently, a scandal broke out in the media due to information about the purchase of products by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine at prices that are significantly higher than the market prices. NABU is currently investigating this issue.
Oleksiy Reznikov, Minister of Defense of Ukraine, in turn informed: "Whoever was the initiator of this throw-in, I want there to be no illusions. I will not allow the supply of food to the army to be blocked or the market monopoly to be restored. I will not allow groundless accusations to create a basis for blocking arms supplies."

Onions were purchased by the community at UAH 40/kg (1500 kg). Yellow onions are priced at UAH 32/kg in stores, white ones may have been bought at a discount, because they are priced at UAH 63/kg in stores.
