Today, February 2, residents of the Odesa region held several protests in Kyiv, first visiting the Office of the Prosecutor General, and then the Office of the President. Residents of the village of Novoselyvka, Kyliy district, and interested Odessites demanded that the leadership of the Prosecutor General's Office influence the Odesa subordinates, forcing them to investigate the scandalous raider seizure in the south of the Odesa region.

We are talking about the agricultural cooperative "Enikioi", which in 2017 was reorganized into a private enterprise - according to local residents, by forging documents. Law enforcement officers opened 11 criminal proceedings related to the scam, but none of them were brought to an end, and half of them were closed altogether. After the reorganization, the company was taken over by lawyer Mladen Barduk. As the participants of the action told our correspondent, Mr paid prosecutors a large bribe - 80 thousand dollars, so that criminal cases against the egos of people connected with the raider seizure are closed.
In January of this year, outraged residents already gathered under the walls of the prosecutor's office of the Odesa region, told about the lawlessness of law enforcement officers who do not want to investigate the case of raider capture. In response, the prosecutor's office only gave vague assurances that they would figure it out. At the same time, the outraged public announced rallies in Kyiv.
Now the deceived residents have reached the capital, hoping that they will be heard by the Prosecutor General's Office and the President. People are waiting for the authorities to finally make regional law enforcement officers remember their direct responsibilities. In particular, the participants of the protest handed over to the Prosecutor General's Office a petition detailing how fraudsters appropriated the company and intimidated residents of Novoselovka, as well as a list of criminal proceedings that were opened but not brought to an end. The residents of Odessa sent a similar appeal to the representative of the President's Office.
Protesters also emphasized that if even after this law enforcement officers led by acting Odesa Oblast Prosecutor Vadym Venislavsky will not take up the case of Barduk and his people, so they organize an immediate action at the Odesa Oblast Prosecutor's Office, setting up a tent camp there.
