In the village of Kotovsky in Odessa, SBU officers are conducting a special operation against a scheme to bribe voters in favor of mayoral candidate Mykola Skoryk.

On Davyda Oistrakh (formerly Zatonskogo) Street, SBU officers are conducting searches and other investigative activities in the office of former People's Deputy Dmytro Golubov.

Previously, Golubov publicly supported the candidate for the mayor of Odessa from the OPZZH party, Mykola Skoryk, who has a reputation as a pro-Russian politician.

Golubova and Skoryk are suspected of organizing a scheme for mass bribery of voters. In the conditions of almost two times behind the opponent in the first round of the mayoral elections, this is the only "possibility" for Skoryk to close the gap.

Several days ago, Skoryk and Golubov reported on the buying of voters' votes and bribery of members of the election commissions in different Telegram channels.

Now the organizers of the voter bribery scheme face up to seven years behind bars.
