21 doses of the Moderna drug against COVID-450 arrived in the Odesa region at the regional vaccine warehouse. This was reported in the regional center of public health.
This vaccine was developed by an American pharmaceutical company and is manufactured in Spain.
In the coming days, the Moderna vaccine will be used by mobile teams to vaccinate organized groups that have previously registered on the waiting list. It is also planned to deliver this vaccine to mass vaccination centers.
It should be noted that the Moderna vaccine is bottled in vials - 15 doses in each vial, so it is not possible to vaccinate citizens with reduced mobility. Also, the use of this vaccine in stationary vaccination centers is not yet expected.
For full immunization, it is necessary to receive two doses of the Moderna vaccine with an interval of 28 days.
