The police are establishing the circumstances of the explosion in the building of one of the political parties in the Obolon district of Kyiv. This was reported in the communication department of the Kyiv police.
On the night of November 29, the duty unit of the capital police received information about a possible explosion near one of the premises on Zoya Haydai Street.
At the scene of the incident, law enforcement officers found that a grenade had probably exploded in the public reception of the leader of one of the political parties. There are no victims. As a result of the explosion, the fence and doors of the house were partially damaged.
As Yevgeny Khudyakov, the head of the Obolon police department, said, law enforcement officers conducted primary investigative actions at the scene of the incident.
"Explosive technicians discovered deformed metal fragments, the remains presumably of grenades, which were seized and sent for appropriate examinations. Now operatives are carrying out a complex of investigative and investigative actions aimed at establishing all the circumstances of this incident and the persons involved in it," he said.
On this fact, the investigators started two criminal proceedings: according to Part 4 of Article 296 (Mischief) and Part 1 of Article 263 (Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosive substances). The pre-trial investigation continues.
As reported in the press service of the National Corps, the explosion occurred near their office around two in the morning. This is already the second such case recently. As last time (October 25), a grenade was thrown into the office, which is located on the first floor of a multi-story building.
