On the night of April 11, the Russian occupiers launched a combined attack with missiles of various types and attack UAVs. The main direction is Lviv Region. In total, the enemy used 82 means of air attack:
— 20 cruise missiles X-101/X-555 The Russian Federation launched the Tu-95 MS from strategic aviation aircraft (launch area - Saratov region of the Russian Federation);
— 6 Kh-47M2 aeroballistic missiles "Dagger" from MiG-31K fighters (launch area - Tambov region of the Russian Federation);
— 12 anti-aircraft guided missiles C-300 (launches from the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.);
— 40 type of shock UAVs "Shahed-131/136" (from Primorsko-Akhtarsk districts of the Russian Federation and Chauda in the annexed Crimea).
— 4 guided air missiles X-59 (from the airspace of the occupied territory of the Zaporizhzhia region).
"Fighter aircraft and anti-aircraft missile forces of the Air Force, mobile fire groups and electronic warfare units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine were involved in repelling the enemy's air attack," — noted Oleschuk.
As a result of anti-aircraft combat 57 air targets were destroyed:
— 16 cruise missiles X-101/X-555;
— 39 type of shock UAVs "Shahed-131/136";
— 2 guided air missiles X-59.
"Thank you to all the defenders of the sky, who this night repelled another terrorist attack by the occupiers," — Oleschuk said.
