15 well-known politicians have already announced their intention to run for the seat of mayor of Kyiv. He writes about it RBC-Ukraine.
So, among the candidates for the post of city mayor, the current mayor of Kyiv Vitaly Klychko, People's Deputy from the "Servant of the People" party Iryna Vereshchuk, showman Sergey Prytula, who will be running for the "Voice" party, People's Deputy from the "Batkivshchyna" Vocational District Oleksiy Kucherenko, a candidate from the All-Ukrainian Association "Svoboda" Andrey Ilyenko, leader of the political force "Ridna Kraina" Nikolay Tomenko, candidate from "EcoParty" Boryslav Bereza.
Also, on October 25, Egor Firsov and Verkhovna Rada deputy from the "Nash Kray" party Sergey Shakhov are running for the Kyiv mayor's election with the "Ecological Alternative" party.
In addition, the ex-head of KSGA Alexander Popov intends to return to politics, Alexander Omelchenko is running with his own party "Edinstvo", Andrey Palchevskiy with the new party "Peremoga Palchevskii" and Sergey Husovskiy, a Kyiv restaurateur from the "For the Future" political force.
From the "Radical Party of Oleg Lyashko", Mikhail Pozhivanov is running for the position of mayor of the capital, and from the "Strength and Honor" party, its leader is Igor Smeshko.
Note that the elections will be held on October 25. Candidates must submit documents for registration to the CEC by September 24.
