Law enforcement officers stopped the activity of the "income minimization center" in Odessa with the participation of more than 30 fictitious enterprises. This was reported in the press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office.
As part of criminal proceedings on the fact of large-scale personal tax evasion (Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine), operatives conducted a number of searches in the offices and enterprises of the suspects, during which they discovered and seized primary accounting documents, draft records, hard drives, flash drives, laptops, seals of enterprises with signs of "fictitiousness", mobile phones.
It was established that the activity of the "center" is aimed at assisting industrial enterprises of Ukraine, connected with the production and sale of cable and conductor products, in evading the payment of taxes, by implementing non-commodity operations, transferring funds from non-cash form to cash. This led to the fact that funds were not received in the budget in a large amount.
Fictitious operations were documented, after which the documents were handed over to the customers of the services to be reflected in accounting and tax records with the aim of overstating their expenses and further evading tax payments.
To participate in the activities of the "center", persons were attracted who, for monetary compensation, without the intention of carrying out financial and economic activities, agreed to the registration and re-registration of enterprises in their own name.
In the above-mentioned illegal scheme, more than 30 enterprises with signs of fictitiousness were used.
