Tonight, October 28, 15 wagons of a freight train derailed while driving to the outskirts of the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region. The head of "Ukrzaliznytsa" Vladimir Zhmak stated that the cause of the accident was deliberate damage to the railway tracks.
— The morning began with two bad news: the derailment of 15 carriages on the run to Kryvyi Rih and a broken glass in the recently repaired train on the Shevchenko-Cherkassy route. Both cases occurred due to the worst human qualities: the first - deliberate damage to the road with the clear intention to cause an accident, the second - simple vandalism, - noted Zhmak.
Zhmak emphasized that no one was hurt in both cases.
