The Security Service of Ukraine exposed an organized group whose members offered civil servant positions, allegedly having connections in the highest echelons of power. This was reported in the SBU press center.
So, among other things, they offered the position of the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration. Deltsy valued it at 3,5 million dollars.
During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that the deal was organized by a resident of the temporarily occupied territory of the Luhansk region. The woman coordinated the activities of the accomplices by phone.
SBU employees recorded the participation in the illegal scheme of a public activist, the head of a number of charitable and anti-corruption organizations. When discussing "personnel issues" with the candidates, he presented himself as an adviser to the President of Ukraine and claimed that he was coordinating appointments to senior positions with the leadership of the National Security Council and the Office of the President.
Law enforcement officers detained two members of the group in one of the Kyiv banks after receiving the entire amount of illegal benefits.
Investigative actions are ongoing. The issue of notification to detainees of suspicion under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Misuse of influence) is resolved.
