Cyber specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine blocked the activities of a branched network of agitators who were spreading information over the Internet to the detriment of the state security of Ukraine. This was reported in the SBU press center.
Criminals tried to artificially destabilize the situation in various regions of the country on the eve of the May holidays.
So, a native of the Donetsk region was detained in Kyiv, who publicly called for the seizure of state power, and also campaigned to join the ranks of illegal armed forces formed in the ORDLO. He posted his "publications" on social networks.
During the investigation at the place of residence of the perpetrator, operatives discovered computer equipment and electronic data carriers with evidence of illegal activity.
Law enforcement officers informed him of suspicion under Part 2 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Public calls for violent change or overthrow of the constitutional system or for the seizure of state power, as well as distribution of materials calling for such actions).
In addition, the investigators of the security bodies reported suspicion under Part 1 of Article 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) to two Internet agitators from the Chernihiv and Volyn regions. Criminals campaigned for actions aimed at changing the borders of Ukraine.
Also, according to the materials of the SBU, the court found two propagandists from Volyn and Sumy guilty of the crimes stipulated in part 1 of article 110 and part 2 of article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. It was established that they distributed publications with anti-constitutional appeals on the Internet. The perpetrators took the materials for their "articles" from propaganda Internet publications of the Russian Federation and the sites of illegal armed forces.
