The Ukrainian president criticized the current policy of Germany. Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with foreign mass media.
Germany will not be able to sit on two chairs in relations with Ukraine and the Russian Federation, since "the distance between these chairs is increasing."
He noted that he was disappointed with Chancellor Angela Merkel, who "wanted to help Ukraine, while maintaining good relations with Russia."
"It is impossible to be, as they say, on two chairs. Especially since the distance between these chairs is increasing every day," added Zelensky.
Let us remind you that Putin and Merkel are meeting today in Moscow. The German chancellor arrived in Russia on a farewell visit. And on August 22, Merkel will visit Kyiv, where she will meet with Zelensky. But she will not stay at the "Crimean Platform" summit, which was considered an insult in Ukraine.
