During the "day of silence", the territorial bodies of the National Police received more than 60 complaints and messages related to violations of the electoral process. This was reported in the communications department of the National Police.
The most violated were found in Dnipropetrovsk (27), Mykolaiv (9), Lviv (7), Donetsk and Zaporozhye (5 each) regions. Four more violations were recorded in the Cherkassy region, two each in the Zakarpattia and Poltava regions, and one violation of the electoral process was established in the Rivne region.
The specified messages related to illegal campaigning – 42, bribery of voters – 14, violations of keeping the voter register – 4 and fraud – 1.
The police drew up two administrative protocols in the Dnipropetrovsk and Lviv regions under Article 212-10 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses (Violation of Restrictions on Conducting Pre-Election Campaigning).
In addition, investigators started three criminal proceedings in Donetsk, Zaporozhye regions and the city of Cherkassy under Part 2 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Bribery of a voter, participant in a referendum).
