The authorities of Crimea, annexed by Russia, announced that they will soon start construction of a new resort town on the western coast of the peninsula, near Evpatoria.
"On the western coast of Crimea, in the Saksky district, big players are ready to build a settlement with about 50 thousand inhabitants," said the so-called head of the republic, Sergey Aksenov.
Earlier in Russia, the appearance of such a city was announced. At the same time, it is not yet known what they want to call him.
Let's note that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky last year also announced the construction of a new resort town in the south of the Odesa region.
The planned city called "Danuya" will be located on the slope between Lake Sasyk and the Black Sea. Virgin sites with an area of 500 hectares will be under development.
