President Zelensky held a press conference for foreign mass media. The main thing

He urged the world mass media not to incite panic.

Today, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky gathered foreign journalists. Zelensky held a press conference in front of foreign mass media. First of all, he urged the world mass media not to incite panic and thereby not harm the economy of Ukraine.

Also, Zelensky invited foreign journalists and diplomats to Donbass to see with their own eyes and understand that there is no aggravation of the conflict or increase in escalation.

"We do not see a greater escalation than before. The number of military personnel has increased, and I spoke about this at the beginning of 2021, when there was talk of military exercises of the Russian Federation. Now I do not think that the situation is more tense than it was then at the peak of science, but there was no such information policy in space then. I believe that we talked about this with the US president, that this policy should be balanced," the Ukrainian president said at a press conference.

According to Zelenskyi, the world mass media created such a tension that gives the impression that tanks are driving around Kyiv and large-scale mobilization is underway in Ukraine, but this is not the case.

The president said that he had several conversations with foreign leaders, and he had to reassure them. In particular, he said that he had to refute the confident words of foreigners that "the war will start tomorrow" in Ukraine. He believes that sanctions should be introduced already, and not wait for the invasion of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

"If there is a full-scale war tomorrow, why do we need sanctions later? Deterring Russia cannot be done at the expense of our state, it is dishonest," the head of state said.

He also said that he explained to Biden that Ukraine now needs to stabilize its economy due to the influence of global panic. They say, such a panic costs the economy of Ukraine dearly. Thus, since the beginning of the relevant rhetoric in the mass media, 12,5 billion were withdrawn from Ukraine, so it was necessary to stabilize the hryvnia from state reserves.

"We are forced to stabilize our currency from state reserves. Ukraine will spend at least $4-5 billion on stabilizing the economy," Zelensky noted.
