At today's meeting, December 15, the Verkhovna Rada voted for a bill to restore the powers of the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, which are related to checks of electronic declarations.
In the first reading, 321 People's Deputies voted for it, in the second (in total) - 300 votes.
According to the adopted draft law No. 4470, all electronic declarations of authorized officials will be checked only by the National Administrative Court. The document suggests the introduction of a complaint mechanism for the judge if he believes that he is under pressure during the declaration verification process. In this case, the judge can appeal to the Supreme Council of Justice, and the judge of the Supreme Court - to the Supreme Court itself. The law provides open round-the-clock access to the United State Register of declarations of persons authorized to perform the functions of the state or local self-government.
Let us remind you that the NAPK lost its powers after the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine.
