Today, Verkhovna Rada deputies voted for the resignation of five ministers, some of whom are vice-premiers, from their positions.
Submitted their credentials:
- Minister of Defense Andrey Taran (341 "for");
- Minister of Ecology Roman Abramovsky (322 People's Deputies "for");
- Oleg Uruskyi, Minister of Strategic Industries (342 "for");
- Deputy Prime Minister of Economy Aleksey Lyubchenko (322 "for");
- Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Alexey Reznikov (329 "for").
Next time, the Council will consider the candidacies of new ministers.
It should be noted that on Monday, the "servants of the people" supported a number of personnel decisions at the faction meeting. Yes, some ministers "change positions", others - in particular, Lyubchenko and Urusky - retire.
Reznikov will be replaced by People's Deputy from "Servants of the People" Iryna Vereshchuk, who will head the Ministry of Defense instead of Taran. Uruskoy will be replaced by Chief Customs Officer Pavel Ryabkin, and instead of Lyubchenko, the head of the President's Office, Yulia Svydorenko, will manage the economy. A replacement for Abramovsky has not yet been found.
