The defender of the arrested ex-president of Georgia, Nika Gvaramiya, said that in the prison hospital they are planning to simulate a riot with the aim of eliminating the ex-president of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili. Gvaramiya stated this at a briefing on Sunday, October 24, reports Новости — Грузия.
As you know, ex-head of Odesa Oblast Saakashvili has been on hunger strike in a Georgian prison for 24 days now. The medical council formed by the Ministry of Health of Georgia recommends transferring it to a mixed-type multi-functional clinic.
The Ministry of Justice agrees to hospitalize the ex-president in a prison hospital in Tbilisi, insisting that it is suitable for starving prisoners.
"The transfer to the prison hospital will be associated with security problems and, according to our information, these problems will be imitated by the current authorities of the country. There will be so-called a simulated riot that will end with the liquidation of Mikhail Saakashvili," Gvaramiya said.
The lawyers demand that the authorities in the near future resolve the question of the ex-president's hospitalization in a multidisciplinary clinic, where they can ensure Saakashvili's safety and take care of his health, taking into account all his needs.
"There is a risk of cardiac arrest. The clinic should have a cardiology service of the second level. In particular, interventional cardiology, laboratory of angiocardiology, endocardial pacemaker implantation, implantation and catheter ablation, treatment of angina pectoris and thrombotic complications," said Gvaramiya, adding that this is impossible in a prison hospital
