The government approved the draft law on increasing the amount of child birth assistance. This was reported by the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine.
Thus, on May 26, the Cabinet of Ministers approved for submission to the Verkhovna Rada the draft law "On Amendments to the Law of Ukraine "On State Assistance to Families with Children" regarding the increase in the amount of assistance for the birth of a child."
The document was developed by employees of the Ministry of Social Policy. As of January 1, 2022, the draft law proposes to increase the amount of state assistance for the birth of a child from 41. 280 hryvnias up to 50 thousand hryvnia The aid will be paid at once in the amount of 25% of the total amount of the aid, the remaining amount will be paid in equal parts over 36 months.
