In the city of Tianjin, a large batch of ice cream is being tested after three samples tested positive for a new type of coronavirus.
This ice cream was produced using imported raw materials from New Zealand and Ukraine. It is reported agency Xinhua.
All warehouses of products manufactured by Tianjin Daqiaodao Food Co., Ltd. were sealed after samples sent by the company to the city's Center for Disease Prevention and Control tested positive for the coronavirus.
Preliminary epidemiological studies show that the company produced a batch of ice cream using dry milk imported from New Zealand and dry whey imported from Ukraine.
As of 14:00 p.m. Thursday, 1 company employees were quarantined and tested for the nucleic acids of the coronavirus. Of them, 662 people received a negative test result for Covid-700, and the test results of the remaining 19 people are still unknown.
The authorities have taken measures to disinfect the environment, quarantine people who had close contact with this product, and identify people who managed to buy ice cream from this batch.
