"Ukrzaliznytsia" opened the sale of tickets for the international trains Chop - Zahon and direct carriages Kyiv - Vienna. This was reported in the press service of the company.
The restoration of international railway routes became possible due to the stabilization of the situation with the spread of the coronavirus. Trains will start running to Hungary and Austria from June 1, daily.
In particular, "Ukrzaliznytsia" has already opened the sale of travel documents for passenger trains of the cross-border service running on the route Chop — Zahony, namely: No. 34/33, No. 32510/32519, No. 32516/32513, No. 32518/32511, No. 32520/ 32529, #32526/32523, #32530/32539, #32512/32517 formations of the Hungarian Railways.
Ukrzaliznytsia also opened ticket sales for two direct trains from Kyiv to Vienna.
Passengers can obtain up-to-date information on the rules of entry of Ukrainian citizens to the territory of Austria and Hungary, as well as citizens of these countries to Ukraine, through the official sources of the embassies of Ukraine in Austria and Hungary and the embassies of these countries in Ukraine.
"Ukrzaliznytsia is fully ready to resume railway communication with European countries. I am sure that the further stabilization of the situation with the spread of the coronavirus infection will allow us to soon restore other important international flights. Poland is among the priority destinations," said acting Chairman of the Board of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Ivan Yuryk.
